Self-Funding Programs, Work Experience and…Fish?

As part of the Australian Government’s Empowering Youth initiative, Whitelion has undertaken an ambitious project to establish and pilot a self-funding training and employment program centred on an aquaculture project in Perth. This project is in line with Whitelion’s efforts to build sustainability into our business model as well as increasing the innovation of our employment programs by introducing a broader vocational pathways focus. The project involves work skills education, practical skill development and hands-on work experience, short term employment and piloting a business model aimed at securing sustainable income for the project based on sales of produce.
