Coffee tastes better this way
Dec 12, 2017
When you purchase a coffee from Melbourne Whitelion social enterprise Wheelly Good Coffee, you are not only receiving a delicious beverage, but supporting a young person to build a better future.
At Wheelly Good Coffee, young people interested in hospitality are helped to develop the knowledge, skills and support they need to be employed. As Whitelion CEO, Mark Watt says “It gives young people a second chance to break the cycle of disadvantage, believe in their potential, make positive changes, and start a new life.”
As well as offering a mobile truck service, Wheelly Good Coffee now has locations in the Library @ the Dock in Docklands, the Melbourne Aboriginal Youth, Sport & Recreation Co-operative (MAYSAR) in Fitzroy, Torrens University in Federation Square and the Whitelion Head Office in West Melbourne.
Recently Whitelion celebrated the 1st Anniversary of its Café @ the Dock, where media and key corporate supporters of Wheelly Good Coffee such as Grant Thornton and the City of Melbourne came together to celebrate. Docklands News also attended and you can read their re-cap of the event http://www.docklandsnews.com.au/editions/article/12-month-success-story_13727/
