In it's 18th year the AFL Finals Series Luncheon is still thriving!

Thursday September 6 saw Whitelion host its 18th Annual AFL Finals Series Luncheon. A late change to the event, with the Richmond vs. Hawthorn match scheduled at the MCG just hours after our luncheon, saw the MCC Member’s Dining Room buzzing with guests at 11.30am.
Our MC for the afternoon, the ever-hilarious Lehmo, had guests engaged from the very beginning and right throughout the day’s proceedings. The 430 attendees heard from our new CEO, Hang Vo; Whitelion Young People, Callista and Blake; as well as our panel of footy legends, Billy Brownless, Grant Thomas, Monique Conti, Nicole Hayes and Glenn Manton.
The inclusion of two raffles, a live and silent auction and the sale of footballs at the event saw attendees dig deep for Whitelion, resulting in almost $124,000 raised! We had some really generous companies come on board this year to support the raising of funds including, The Lancemore Group, The Langham Melbourne, Lexus Travel, AFL, Signed and Framed, Civic Media and The Grand Hyatt, just to name a few.
Events like the Whitelion AFL Finals Series Luncheon wouldn’t be in their 18th year if it weren’t for the ongoing support of our event sponsors; Optus, 3Dynamics, Lion and Schweppes Australia.
We extend an enormous thank you to all people who attended our 18th Annual Whitelion AFL Finals Series Luncheon, to those who bought tables and tickets, to the generous companies who support us with raffle or auction items and to all our guest speakers who volunteer their time to be there. We are ecstatic with the result of our 18th Annual lunch at the MCG and are so grateful for the support we continue to receive.
