Mentors needed!

Whitelion’s work aims to positively change young lives. Many of our young people have never had a positive role model to show them the benefits of earning a living, teach them independent living skills or give them guidance in tough situations. The Mentoring program has a goal of bridging that gap by matching volunteer mentors with young people.

These volunteers can be truly life changing to the young people by showing them they have people who care about them. They are also able to enrich their lives through opening the young people up to new experiences and opportunities. Mentors are also truly enriched by the experience because often the young people teach them just as much as they teach their mentee. The relationships created in this program are often lifelong with both mentors and mentees citing the truly life changing impact of the program.
