How can workplaces support young women?

Over 180 attendees joined us at The Langham Melbourne, and our second annual Leading The Pride high tea did not disappoint! The hilarious Husna Pasha was our Master of Ceremonies on the day, keeping the crowd engaged with her contagious energy throughout the event.

The highlight of the event was a fascinating panel discussion on how workplaces can support young women – especially those experiencing disadvantage – to enter the world of work, and flourish. Whitelion CEO Hang Vo made up the panel alongside Lexie Walter and Sian Prangnell from the Cross Yarra Partnership and Marta Malchevski from Foundation for Young Australians. Each panellist shared their experience of entering the workforce and overcoming challenges, and stimulated a great audience discussion about what we can all do to support young people in work.

Thanks to a number of wonderful companies who offered generous donations for the day, each guest took home a little gift bag of goodies, and our raffles were decked with a stack of amazing prizes.
