Three Peaks Challenge to proceed

Whitelion would like to acknowledge the devastation of the current bushfires on communities right across Australia. We send our heartfelt support to all those affected and our thanks to all those involved in fighting these fires and the recovery efforts.

We can confirm at this stage that Whitelion’s Three Peaks Challenge event will proceed on the scheduled dates from 12-16 March 2020. Participant safety is always our first priority so we will continue to monitor conditions across the three mountains and access into and out of the area.

We look forward to continuing our support of the local communities and economy where the event will be running in Mt Tennent (ACT), Mt Kosciusko (NSW) and Mt Bogong (Vic).

Whitelion will also be making a contribution from the proceeds of the Three Peaks Challenge event to support the affected regions near the three mountains.

In the meantime, please note that all scheduled training walks in the lead up to the Three Peaks Challenge are being managed with participants’ safety being the first priority. Our Guides have up to date apps and in some cases our Guides will be doing test walks prior to scheduled walk dates to ensure safety of all participants is paramount. If required the training walk locations will be moved and details will be updated on the Whitelion Three Peaks Challenge 2020 Facebook group.
